I've got a weakness for the 858s. Great guns.

Yeah man, beauty.
How do you like the longer barrel?
I was considering getting one to use as a primary weapons system, but will get my shotgun working the way i need it to instead.
Cheap to shoot at least...

Hey boys, good evening to ya.
The longer barrel is hardly noticeable to me being a modest 6'3 @ 220lbs... albeit, those lighter/shorter guys may see some problems with it. But I should mention the CZ858 is 6.5lbs empty... whereas the SKS is nearly 9lbs.
The rig is an HSGI Wesatch modified to use external mag pouches only (by Warfighter tactical). If you guys are unfamiliar with the HSGI line, the Wesatch is a smaller model of the Wasatch. Both models have internal magazine pouches from the factory. I disliked this, so I had it modified to run off of HSGI universal mag pouches.
Anyway gents, look into the 858. Get one before the FaRT's scent changes!

Just to keep the conversation / learning going... why did you choose the cz 858 for your grab and go set up? What went in to your decision and what other rifles did you consider?
