I'm an 18 year old male from southern ontario wanting to get into most of the things discussed on this forum,
Alas i am plagued by problems of my age, lack of training and monetary issues but you have to start somewhere and I'd like to prepare as much as i can because its better than nothing.

I've always said - it's not the gun, it's the guy.
Welcome.

welcome! i'm 19 so in the same boat as you ! Like wish said, not the gear it's the guy behind it. I find you can save money by learning the KISS Principle and keeping it in mind when your buying kit. Also the more you go out and use the gear you have the better you will know what you actually NEED when you are spending your hard earned scratch. I have found that ill go out and buy something, take it to the field once and never touch it again. So you go out and make do with what you already have and then you will not be wasting cash on that unecessary item.
